Inspired by the title of an Indigo Girls song, this “duets show” played an extended run at Feinstein’s at the Regency in June 2009.
Cheyenne Jackson is an award-winning stage and film actor who recently starred on Broadway as Woody Mahoney in Finian’s Rainbow. On and Off Broadway, Jackson has starred in Damn Yankees, Xanadu (Drama League , Drama Desk nominations), The Agony & the Agony, All Shook Up (Theater World Award, Drama League, Outer Critics Circle Award nominations), the premiere cast of Altar Boyz, Aida, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Cartells, On the 20th Century and The 24 Hour Plays. His film and television credits include the Oscar-nominated United 93, Curiosity, Hysteria, Family Practice, Photo Op, Lipstick Jungle, Life on Mars, Ugly Betty and 30 Rock.
A five-time Grammy nominee, Michael Feinstein is often credited with reinvigorating interest in the American popular song. The crooner has performed in concert halls around the world and on Broadway and now co-owns his own nightclub, Feinstein’s at the Regency. His numerous solo recordings include The Sinatra Project, Michael and George: Feinstein Sings Gershwin, Big City Rhythm, Romance on Film, Romance on Broadway, Michael Feinstein with The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Only One Life: The Songs of Jimmy Webb and Hopeless Romantics.

Jackson adds: “To work with someone of Michael’s caliber has been humbling and inspiring on so many levels. He has been nominated for five Grammys, yet in between takes in the studio he will still crack me up with his dead-on Paul Lynde impression. He doesn’t take himself too seriously, and I find that to be his second-best quality. His first would be a three-way tie with his impeccable musicianship, his sense of humor and his kindness.”
